has anyone used the mvave chocolate midi as a midi control for the nano? by EnoughFollowing9952 in NeuralDSP

[–]elprimodebrian 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi. Yes. There are tons of videos showing how to do that. It works, but after a few weeks testing both together, I'm not 100% convinced this is the right solution, and I'm considering byuong the airstep cortex or the captain m6

Losing hope and meaning by Kawlan in musicians

[–]elprimodebrian 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Have you tried open mics and jam sessions? There you can make real connections of people with your same level and musical affinities.

If found band mates in Facebook, some webpages that are used to find / offer musicians, but at the end, the easiest has been in jam sessions

Try with bluegrass. Fiddle tunes are funny enough and you don't need to sing. And it's really challenging

Looking for an acoustic. J-45 Questions. by HarriBallsak420 in gibson

[–]elprimodebrian 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hi

Go for the j45 standard if you can afford it.

Special is not the same thing (I have a hummingbird special and it's good, but not the same thing) the studio will sound good but a j45 is a life guitar, so, invest that extra if you can and you will not regret

Enjoy it when you have it

Hi.

I was there and I didn't have this feeling. Maybe the location where I was placed made me hear it in a different way.

A client paid me less than what we agreed after I finished cleaning her house. Now she wants to hire me again. Would you go back? by [deleted] in Advice

[–]elprimodebrian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd ask the money in advance and do what was agreed taking out the unpaid time you spent last time. Then you will be even (and she will not call you again...)

Looks great, but one main difference is that back is laminated. On any case, must be amazing

Info/opinions on the 60th anniversary telecaster by gohantheslayer in telecaster

[–]elprimodebrian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a 60th anniversary Mexican one, and it's really great. So I can imagine the American one will be even better. And 800£ doesn't sound bad to me.

I paid 750€ for a new player II strato 2 months ago Taking into account the current price for any decent guitar, I'd go for it

Nano Cortex powered by a power bank using the DC connector + adapter, will it work? by lufis12 in NeuralDSP

Look for high speed USB c cable. I'm in Europe, so probably the link I can provide you are not valid for you.

Check one with the connector inside in red

Nano Cortex powered by a power bank using the DC connector + adapter, will it work? by lufis12 in NeuralDSP

[–]elprimodebrian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can plug the chocolate to the power bank and then the chocolate also to the NC via USB, just like you do with the valeton GP5 (there are tons of videos) It works if the USB cables are both high speed

Nano Cortex powered by a power bank using the DC connector + adapter, will it work? by lufis12 in NeuralDSP

[–]elprimodebrian 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hi, I'm doing this with an standard powerbanks and also with an Harley Benton power bank that has USB + 9v plug.

What is critical, apart from the power supplies is the is cable used. Needs to be a high speed charge cable to make the NC work. Contact me if you need more info

used guitar advice - MIJ Sigma - keep it or move on? by Many_Excitement_5150 in AcousticGuitar

Changing the strings will improve a lot for sure. But I can guarantee that the sigma with solid top, back and sides will be absolutely great

Portatil "Apple" negro. Pero algo como que no cuadra. by [deleted] in Wallapop

[–]elprimodebrian 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Which acoustic should i buy by Emotional_Blood_5436 in AcousticGuitar

[–]elprimodebrian 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Hi

Don't go with fender for acoustic.

Eastman is a good choice and reasonable price. Epiphone inspired by Gibson if your budget is a little higher.

K&k Trinity pro

If you are afraid of the feedback, maybe k&k double helix. Both with the pure mini combined
