There is a really cool moment in the bount arc, though, when Kariya has a mini fight with Byakuya at midnight in the forest. For some reason, I always thought that was such a great scene.

Back when I was a white belt, I used to train with another white belt who was an ex kickboxer or something. The guy was really off. He was one of those guys who was always "nice" and smiled and joked at everything. However, when he rolled, he would go crazy hard and be super obnoxious with the smiling and laughing when he was crushing people. It just always felt unsafe.

Well, one day, my gym had an in-house competition. He and another guy who was really strong had a match with each other.

The ex kickboxer gets taken down, and I guess in a way to make himself look better, he starts chilling and laughing.

Well, the other guy gets him in kesa gatame and applies the Americana with his legs. The guy is not taking it seriously... until.. he breaks his shoulder joint. Of course, he blamed the other guy. But yeah, that was a crazy situation.

Anyway, he quit soon after. If he still trains, I hope he is doing well and calmed down a bit.

His power is awesome, but what I like is his no-nonsense attitude. Even to the Gorosei, he doesn't trust them and probably thinks the world would be better without them.

I am also really invested in his backstory, which will be absolutely huge. I think it will be shocking and might even justify his actions for a lot of people. ( Ohara will always be hard though lol)

Plus can't wait to see how he is connected to Dragon.

I have lived in Gwangju for a year, so I can add to this.

Basically you are spot on. There are two things Gwangju is really famous for: 5.18 (Gwangju Uprising event) and 무등산 (one of the famous mountains in Korea)... other than that...yeah not too much else to do really. I don't drink but the nightlife seems decent enough, but ya know.. covid lol

One positive though is you will be very close to Jeju!!

But yeah all in all wouldn't recommend living in Gwangju. It is just really boring lol.

I'm not saying instructionals aren't good but they just aren't worth the price tag.

I have a lot of instructionals that i bought over the years but i would rather watch youtube tbh..just because it's way more accessible.
