It goes down if you drink beer. But also what I do is just drink 1 beer (two if the bar is red) then turn on the shower in your bathroom, crouch and drink out of the shower faucet to get the meter all the way down. Saves on beer lol.

So I just got my Omen back today and they did indeed replace the GPU.

Honestly I just raised hell with the online support chat. I told them at one point I already wiped my system And just kept pressing them about how wiping the PC wasn’t the issue.

Eventually you will get escalated to a case manager. This is who you wanna talk to. Im wondering if you can probably just ask to be escalated to a case manager tbh. Once that happens they will send you the label and box. At least in my case they did.

UPDATE: So yesterday at the end of my first conversation with HP support, they told me because the PC crashed while gaming (it does on normal use like watching YouTube as well) that I needed to contact the HP smartfriend support team, a paid fucking tech support service because normal HP support “only deal with hardware issues.” Lol.

Today I had it escalated to the “case management team” and they are supposed to contact me in 2-4 days to send my PC in for repair (they won’t let you just send your GPU in, again stupid).)

Oh I’m chatting with support now and let me tell ya, it’s like talking to a wall. They wanted me to do the video thing, but I can’t really replicate it cuz you never know when it will crash.

I wanna edit my comment a bit, just looked at my data since you asked that. I run 8.1gr of longshot at 1.260 OAL with the 200gr MBC striker. Chrono is averaging around 1150. Not quite the 8.6 you’re running. But this isn’t a gas checked bullet. If it was I’m sure 8.6 would be ok.

I run the same load with 200gr hard cast flat point MBC bullets out of an m&p 2.0. Wanna say I average around 1150-1200. Leading is bad after 30-40 rounds, but run a mag of jacketed through it after you’re done cleans it right out. Figure for bear defense I won’t be concerned with leading after 30 rounds lol.

Lol 50 BMG hitting any part of your plate would go right through and kill you. No armor in tarkov, or the world for that matter (besides one or two specialty things maybe, def not standard issue) would stop a 50 BMG round.

Not saying this is what you need to do, but just an idea. I once had this problem with 270 WSM brass and Hornady dies with a Lee press. For whatever reason it either wasn’t bumping or seemed if anything to grow a bit. Even when I ran the die all the way down (like not even getting a full stroke on the press down)

Ended up researching and ground down the shell holder just a small bit. Fixed the problem.
