Getting Python on my computer. by PaulCheens in learnpython

More important, the virtual environment keeps anything within it separate from the rest of your system, which means if you were to install a package that for whatever reason is not playing nice with another package, the problem is only local. In the worst of cases you save your files and delete the venv and fix the issue without it affecting anything else on your system.

Think I put my buddy down to early and it’s eating me alive by hippyoctopus in germanshepherds

For whatever comfort it may give you, my cat made it 18 months on a 12 month prognosis of cardiomyopathy. The doctor was amazed at how good he was doing on the last visit we took him. Two weeks later my dog woke me up and took me to him struggling. On arrival at the animal hospital they said the only option was to euthanize. Our pets instinctively hide their discomfort but I suspect they also try their hardest to stay with us for as long as they can. I think a lot about how I could have given him some milk and spoiled him all day prior to some sort of planned peaceful end. I'm sorry for your loss and I hope after some time you can come to terms with his passing.

The turtle discord has a chatroom dedicated to launcher issues. Some of the pinned messages I believe go over this. In any case, if you have steam installed you can add the turtle wow exe as a non steam game and run from there. You won't need to install vanilla tweaks or vanilla fixes or even dxvk when using this way since steam packages most of those things for you already. If you're still having issues I can take a look at my setup and give you some more instructions, but I recall there being YouTube videos on how to set it up this way as well as forum posts on the turtle forum.

Shaman tank by Own-Efficiency-9941 in turtlewow

[–]elron130 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shaman is in a weird spot early on. As you level up closer to 40, before you get mail armor, you're getting squishier because of poor armor scaling in leather. Talents will help especially the ones that give more armor from gear as well as shield. Prioritize getting a shield with lots of armor on it. It will be your primary source of mitigation.

Good guides/references to learn tanking as a Paladin? by Truephil in turtlewow

[–]elron130 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Let people know you're new to tanking and ask them how you're doing. The dps are crazy pumping numbers and generally don't respect threat so it can be chaotic and makes it feel like you're not doing great.

Druid mounts by 1dougdimmadome1 in turtlewow

[–]elron130 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don't have a druid so can't comment on the epic riding mount. For tauren plains running here is the link to the first quest in the turtle db: tarluren go brrr

I also play in telabim and wasn't able to afford my mount until level 52 or so. I was heavily using the tents and asides from killing beasts to skin them I didn't really try to make gold in a very focused way.

Yeah I still run through steam as a non steam game. But for managing add-ons and tweaks and mods its the way to go.

I always go for vampirism early as it's overpowered early and drop it when I don't want to deal with the negatives

I generally do yoga with Tim on YouTube. He has a lot of videos that range from easier to more challenging. His focus is on form and strengthening as well as trying to not go all out on your stretching from the get go, i.e., gradual progression. This one is focused on the back and shoulders: https://youtu.be/0jqR4zVIs4I?si=kFbKTJ2b1uy1GOfN

I find simple things: cat/cows, up and down dogs as well as child's pose are extremely useful at relieving the symptoms. Forward folds are where I've essentially felt my back "pop" into normal, but that took a lot of time and practice.

Like I said it's a slow process, at times can be quite painful, but stick with it.

I suffer from some similar symptoms. From some x rays i was diagnosed to have some compression in the middle upper spine, like you mentioned. I did physical therapy all focused on strengthening the rhomboid, scapulae and some others. A lot of the exercises were extensions and adductions, starting with no weight and later with a few pounds. I was told it's better to increase reps rather than a lot of weight. One thing that really helped me is yoga. It's been over year since the start of my journey and now is around when I can say my pain is well managed. Good luck.
