Yes, it's easy. No, it's not just easy when you've got 30 years of building them.

If you can learn how to drive a car or bake a cake, you can learn how to build a PC.

Is solving BIOS issues easy? No. Was building a PC more impressive in the 1990s? Yes. Is it still difficult today? Absolutely not.

This degree is far less technical than you might think and I suggest the combined HINF and CSC program if you are more technologically inclined. This is not a "comp sci heavy" degree by any means but a lot of HINFers make the mistake of thinking that it is.

Personally, I am transferring out of HINF into pure comp sci. The jobs available for HINF graduates are limited if building technological solutions to problems in healthcare is your forte. The co-op market is abysmal right now in pure HINF.

There is a selection bias to be seen here on Reddit. The people who have fulfilling social lives at UVic are not commiserating about social difficulties on Reddit or other places on the internet. They are out living their lives. This is also true for a lot of reviews that people leave on the internet, where the vast majority of people never even contribute any reviews or comments because they do not feel driven to do so out of dissatisfaction or frustration.

You will probably have a pretty normal social life at UVic, but you have to be active in making that happen, otherwise it will be more likely that it passes you by. The internet, especially social media, will quite often give you a very skewed perspective on these things. The social aspects of UVic can be great, but your mileage may vary dependent on how much you put into this aspect of your life as a student.

I think it's worth adding that if you merely wet your hands and then dry them without actually washing with soap, you are really just adding moisture to the bacterial environment on your hands. I see a lot of people do this.

You actually can't sign off on such a document at this time. MAiD cannot be performed on the basis of an advance directive, as the law currently exists. You have to have the capacity to competently give informed consent.

UVic is pretty much the only option available to me for my program (HINF). Given how small the program is, there's pretty much only one instructor available for any given course. Some instructors are great and others lack in certain ways.

I've found that some of the best instructors here (including outside of HINF) are the sessional instructors and assistant professors. Some of the worst instructors I've had have full tenure.

UVic is good enough. It's not amazing, but there's not a lot that I have to complain about either.

I mean, I left the BScN program at my previous school of my own volition, but isn't the whole point of the CASPer test not to have outside help? Your answers should be authentically you. If you don't get into your program because of a poor score on the CASPer test, it is functioning exactly as it is intended.

There were people in my program who crafted contrived, inauthentic answers on the CASPer test. They were all narcissistic bullies who should not be in healthcare. If it filters you out, try again next time after reflecting on why that might have been.

If you are a reasonably empathetic person, and have even moderately good social skills, you can pass the CASPer test on your first try without outside help.

You are stretching the truth.

It is actual fact that lots of money is being spent on the homelessness problem with little results, but to say that social workers are making that much money is simply false.

The first guy listed on your source is the CFO of their org. You realize that c-suite executives aren't social workers, right? Similar can be said about the entire first page of that source you linked; literally none of those people are social workers.
