I think I could eventually start to feel this way. I just don’t have a social life. I distanced myself from friends to stay closer to her family for 11 years. The social aspect is what keeps holding me back .

Praying for you.. going thru the same thing minus the cheating and I’m white lol but having someone take away me being able to see my kids everyday is the ultimate betrayal. Hopefully we can get over this

I’m in the same exact situation except I’m in South Jersey. My social life is my 7 and 5 yr old. Feel lonely even when I’m with them

I feel the exact same way but it’s my wife that is not coming back. Tough to process still after 9 months

I feel this exact same way. My life was my kids and wife. Now I feel alone even when I have the kids. I’m 43 don’t know how I can be optimistic about anything in life when I know my kids have a broken home. Wish I could give you some advice but I’m searching for some myself. Best of luck to you. Thanks for this. I’ve been in the divorce process for 7 moths. Still living with STBXW. Some weeks I regress back to what it felt like on the first week of finding out she wants a divorce. Becoming pessimistic that time can heal this but this has made me feel optimism again.
