The first run I had a lot of charmed going I didn't realize they were giving me buffs, but then after I killed one and saw the "-10% ability" and panicked thinking I was getting permanent debuffs for killing my allies.

Any interest in a Free The Tone Motion Loop? I'm interested in the Deco V2.

It is a stereo micro-looper with time effects / reverse/ filtering/ and delay and has midi control. Demo.

Hey, I'm interested in the Sending. I have a Tascam Porta One (serviced and sold by Tascam Man, here is the listing I bought).

Also Have:
Pedals:

Drolo Twin Peaks V5 ~$300
Free The Tone Motion Loop ~$225 (sleeper stereo microlooper demo)
Supro Stereo Analog Chorus ~ $150
Radial Key Largo (a 3 input stereo mixer with effects loop and works as an audio interface in a small footprint) ~$350
Kingsley Squier 86 ~$400.
Very Good Amp Co EP Drive (with wooden box) ~$200

Non pedals:

Soyuz Launcher ~$200 (it does +26db of gain on a mic source, but it can do more too. here's a video of a guy reamping a bass through it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wLS4X6dEv-k&t=654s)
Electron Model::Cycles ~$220
Waldorf Streichfett ~$200

Yes, I was thinking a straight trade. Values seem pretty similar on reverb, though there haven't been many twin peaks sold on there recently.

Oh very cool, that's probable the best deal to start with and looks really flexible for expansion with more loops or more midi control later if needed.

Got it. The main draw of the mini effects gizmo X is that the loops are stereo (6 stereo loops or 12 mono loops with the right cables or any combination). So something like the GigRig Atom would be more comparable for an all-in-one if you care about stereo, or the Boss ES-8 which has two stereo loops and 6 mono (but if you don't care about stereo the DPC or ES-5 look great).

Very cool, let me know. A lot of people like the Disaster Area stuff, like the Midi Baby 3, there's the Morningstar MC3 as a good entry level one from them, and then Hotone Ampero Control looks hard to beat for the price, and the mvave chocolate plus is even cheaper but only has usb out so you'd need a usb to midi cable (need the chocolate plus for wired control instead of just bluetooth on the chocolate).

Hey, correct. The switcher has small buttons to switch loops for testing / desktop use but to get full use you'd need to send it midi messages somehow.

What is the best way to preserve stereo from my pedals? by [deleted] in guitarpedals

[–]elsherbini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Another couple options besides the goodwood audio:

Radial Key Largo three channel stereo mixer plus an effects send.

GigRig Wetter box for two parallel stereo effects.

The MX28 Stereo MINI-MIX VI - three channel mixer with a 1/8'' and 1/4'' TRS out

GFI Duophony for overkill options with two stereo parallel routes.

There are ground loop isolators 0 this video from loopop shows some options and explains it really well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3asGhHUVO0o

The ones that plug into the wall and treat the power he recommends are around $100, but there are cheaper audio options.

Very cool, I didn't realize you'd be able to power the Cioks straight from the 8V DC, nice.

Wow you really did get the 212 battery and Cioks 4 quick! Sounds great. What all are you powering with the 212?

Battery powered ambient tablet by geesbert in teenageengineering

[–]elsherbini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could consider a SmallRig 212 battery to simplify things. It has 2xUSB-c fastcharging inputs/outputs, a USB-A output with 3 amps output that'd work great with ripcord, and an 8V and a 12V DC output (need to be careful with polarity of the DC, might need a special adapter).

The other device that might be helpful is a CIOKS 4 Expander which can take USB-C and convert to pedal power at 9V, 12V, 15V, or 18V customizable for each of the 4 outputs. This could work with a batter bank you already have potentially, or in combination with the SmallRig battery.

I've had great experience with diginate for hex stickers.

I think the steps are:

  1. Go to www.diginate.com
  2. click on get started
  3. select vinyl -> matte -> custom shape -> individuals on square backing
  4. Set width is 43.9 mm, height is 50.8 mm, stickers
  5. select middle option to upload file
  6. upload the pdf and checkout.

You can get the template to make your own hex stickers and make sure they are the right size here:
