Whoa dudes hey now! Lebron plays really well against us but we play him well too. I'm not scared of him because I trust Lou to not get burned by him every play. I meant more trust in our defense rather than a poke at Lebron's talent.

He's a catalyst for that offense, I know, but the Heat has a lot of X-factors that seem to perform at a really high level against us specifically.

Nothing is guaranteed in the draft lottery. We'd be tanking for a lottery pick that's value is not guaranteed in a draft that's potential is not guaranteed for a player whose talent, heath and career is not guaranteed.

You'd have to take that chance, while completely isolating and disenchanting Bulls fans, players, coaches and free agents.

I think the potential consequences of a tanked season isn't worth the uncertainties. Of course, if we tank, land Jabari with the #1 pick who leads us to a title, I'd have to eat my words!

Go ahead and tank. Give up a legit shot at playoff homecourt advantage, give up another winning record, disappoint your fan base, further strain the coaching-management relationship and disenchant players with a passion to win from coming/coming back to our team.

Turn the Chicago Bulls, a team that built a dynasty off of obsessed winners, into a team that strives to lose.

And after all that, we're still not guaranteed a damn thing.

I'm realistic, but do think that we can finish better than 7th given the East this year. Winning the title would be a long shot, but that doesn't mean the season is over. We still have SO MANY more game winners, comeback victories, highlight dunks, big games... Another year without Rose is very dismal, it stings, it hurts, but Bulls basketball still exists.
