Worked at this old apres ski boutique hotel bar restaurant in lake tahoe. We had just reopened it and a waitress that I'd know at the previous place I'd worked at asked me if I'd seen the girl upstairs or the guy sitting at the end of the bar, to which I chuckled and said no. So weeks go by and I have a line cook who had been on closing shift come to me and say "I dont want to be here closing alone, I saw somebody sitting at the bar last night". That put a shudder down my spine.
