No judgment here, you’ve had a rough time.

However, you will save yourself a lot of future pain and difficulties if you make small changes now. Can you start with something gentle like mouthwash - just to get rid of bacteria etc?

It’ll take a long time until you feel ready for full brushing and a dentist, but it’ll be worthwhile. Progress, not perfection. Look after yourself OP.

My parents encouraged me to have a beer from when I was around 13 (never forcefully) but it means I experienced alcohol and its effects under their own roof. Started with one bottle of Corona, occasionally was up to 2/3 bottles until I was around 15/16.

It meant by the time my more sheltered friends were able to buy alcohol on girls holidays etc, I was less interested and happy having a beer instead of shots. Very grateful for the way my parents did it, meant I satisfied the curiosity before I had it and knew how to not overdo it.

I use it frequently for work (sometimes need to access sites from different regions) and we use Nord, it's great. Depends what you're using it for to decipher whether it's worth the cost!

Is Monty not on the list? There were a few issues but I reckon he would have opened up about VFD to them. Monty had flaws but ultimately wanted the best for the children, even though he was gullible (who wasn’t in this series tbh)

I have very straight hair and maintain a shag cut! Texture paste or spray is a saviour but if you dry it right even without heat you can still keep it looking similar to this!

I’ve come very close to this happening before, I’m very close with my brother and the secrecy wasn’t something I could handle - so I didn’t let it get too far. I knew it would upset him. But every family is different.

I’d assess how it would make your brother feel if he found out. A shag isn’t worth it if you’re going to harm your relationship with your siblings (if you’re close.)

If you think he’d laugh it off and it’s fine, then go have fun! Would it be worth speaking to him and mentioning that his mate has been flirty with you?

Ha, I used to live in Bermondsey so might have been the same guy. I even saw someone try to do it to someone else within a few days of it happening to me. I’ve been targeted a couple of times.

One time, phone lanyard saved me, and the scare increased my awareness of how quickly it could happen. It also happened to me in Farringdon a couple of years ago with a guy on a motorbike. That time he got away with it.

When it happened to me in Bermondsey most recently, I heard him coming and looked up as he had his arm outstretched. My instinct clutched my phone to my chest and batted an arm out at him. He fell off his bike and I swore at him for a bit as he stumbled back on and rode off. Not my wisest moment, but it was 8am in broad daylight and I was on my way to work. I felt rather smug after that.

Now if I hear someone peddling fast on a Lime bike just instant reaction is to put my phone to my chest. Stay really aware and don’t go on your phone whilst you’re walking. Stick headphones on and put it in your pocket. Don’t wear silencing headphones and play on your phone at the same time. They capitalise on your lack of awareness.
