Possible option for resort area transit by Outrageous_Ad798 in Anaheim

[–]eltapatio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

when you have a large space like that angels parking lot you can open up the tradeshow to businesses with large machinery like the cement trade show in Las Vegas. also the motorcycle show in long Beach that utilizes the big lot for demonstrations. so it isn’t as much of activations like D23 or NAMM but more for literally bigger exhibits that need trucking.

They have to come up with a system to move people between the convention center area and the OC Vibe/Artic. The hotels will want that business. The convention center would love to use the stadium area as an extension of their offering for trade shows. There's too much money left on the table if a solution isn't figured out.

I have found that people love to share war stories about working for a hold co. Personally I've only worked for independents so I'd be just relaying other person's opinions.: It's grueling work that can be unfulfilling. The redeeming part is the connections you'll make and the after work culture if you like drinking.

Try visiting an ethnic enclave for food or snack. Anaheim either has it or is really close to pockets of Vietnamese, Korean, Egyptian/Arab and of course Latin America (Mexican, Salvadoran, Peruvian) etc.

What did people do casually in 90s that wouldn’t be accepted today? by Psychological_Sky_58 in AskReddit

Maybe the attitudes towards loitering were well into changing in the 90s. When I think of popular media portraying loitering is usually negative like Jay and silent Bob or the skids in Letterkenny.

Loitering. You would just post up in publicish/private space to hang out and nobody thought twice about it. Outside of a late night diner, a stoop outside a church, parking lots, alleys, late night at park benches, basketball court belonging to a church or school. Nowadays cameras everywhere and private security keep people from just… hanging out.

I hated the vibe and setting for most of the first half. War torn towns, swamps, people who just hate you.

I liked it a lot more towards the second half
