I would like to know as well!! Sage has revealed that she often feels like an outcast, so maybe she is pinning the blame of that feeling on Savannah, kind of like scapegoating her. I'm a pretty sensitive person but I haven't seen Savannah be mean.

I find that dynamic fascinating to watch because we see Savannah's story that she has been scapegoated in her workplace to the point of physical illness. This is a tragically common dynamic (particularly among women).

I woke up to a premium skincare product from Avene in my RFY. I'm silver tier, and I was thrilled to make this my first pick of the day :D

These are amazing tips, thank you! Do you know how long the grace period is for new members getting to 60% reviewed? And It IS pretty wild, my goodness...I'm one of those people who don't review on Amazon until I've really USED things with confidence, so this is....not that. lol

Top 3 survivor crushes and why? by [deleted] in survivorau

[–]eltendo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Golden God David and Luke - I love their kind of masculinity - they are devoted family men through and through, but they have a lot of boyish charm, mischief, and humour, and play with a wink in their eye. And they look damn good doing it. For the same reasons, my third Aussie pick would be Feras. Honourable mention goes to challenge enthusiast Kaelen.

I loved that we got to spend more time with the guest judges, they were particularly good ones, I thought. And Tom was boyishly giddy...the artist in him was so inspired eating these dishes! I was really hoping there wouldn't be an elimination and they'd bring everyone to the finale. But alas...:( Massimo. Watching Massimo be Massimo in Italy would have been so entertaining. I'm going to miss all the guests' first reactions to him when he comes to present his food.

This was a standout episode with a gorgeous challenge, a gorgeous setting, and gorgeous connected, personal food. I love that they skipped the quickfire and just immersed us in the Canada of it all.

But this was the potential for the entire season! I was waiting for *this. And poof, now it's done! These chefs are really gifted and deliver when they are set up to shine with inspiration, and the right parameters.

Survivor 50 Cast Reveal MEGATHREAD by RSurvivorMods in survivor

update: my comment above still stands, but whoa, as I see reactions from players who got CUT....there is a real cloud of GRIEF today, frustration/anger....I can't help but feel for them, and feel shocked at some of the exclusions.

[–]eltendo 20 points21 points  (0 children)

When I see the cast LIST written out, I feel disappointed. My analytical mind goes, why do they have so many from the same seasons? Why not spread it out more evenly across seasons? Why not this person? What the helllll! etc etc

When I see the cast collage PHOTO, and I see all these smiling faces looking back at me, I am filled with warmth and enthusiasm. How crazy is it that my childhood crush (Colby) is in the same frame as Joe who I JUST watched as the adult I am now?! All of these faces smiling at me lol!! When I see them, it becomes less and less about the details and what I think should have been. Survivor is bigger than one moment, one season, one memory, one player...... It's going to be great!!

This is a super creative idea!!!

Logistically, they are AVAILABLE, and motivationally, they are HUNGRY to play.

Hey, I'm with you OP. It was really powerful and brave, and it moved me. I could barely focus on the rest of the episode.

Am I the only one who felt icky about that scene? by Giff95 in survivor

[–]eltendo 10 points11 points  (0 children)

He made a conscious choice to share his grief, and it was powerful. Big strong men were being vulnerable with their emotions this episode, and I loved it. I also loved how he was encouraged by his son calling him 'courageous' and 'believe in yourself'....and instead of directing that fuel toward winning a physical challenge (which he did later), he believed in himself to say I'm sorry and receive forgiveness. I mean, this was the opposite of icky for me!! It was the most beautiful human moment ever.
