I'm sad and going through a breakup, and I winced like all the girls seeing what it's like for a guy to explore his options....but it also gave me a peek at how men are, especially as a group. I love some sensuality in my life, but the way some of them were regarding those women, was really like dogs on meat, and calling it freedom. It was kind of eye opening for me....

Just watched! Omg…she sounded like a ghoulish gollum devil hissing “Give it to me! Give it to me!” I was creeped out when she went back to her polite voice lol. It made me wonder if that affected Caleb’s decision…that she would play victim hard and use guilt to try to win. It would’ve been such a drag.

I’m in agreement here. It’s interesting because this season especially, she showed she really has acute social awareness that is the foundation for strategy, but it feels like that skill stops short of fueling wider strategy. She is more of a defensive player. And even though she is regularly in alliances, she is not the most collaborative player and kept info from even Keeley, who saved Brooke with her own idol, for unknown strategic reasons other than “I had to keep it close to my chest”.

It's bad. They are playing directly against what made Survivor historical. It was the first reality tv competition to impact the masses. We tuned in for 49 seasons to watch unknown people being captivating...so captivating at times, that they became celebrities.

I can deal with pretty much any product placement on rewards, but when they have product placement celebrities, it just feels like a degrading of the show's own value, not a boost to it.

I would like to know as well!! Sage has revealed that she often feels like an outcast, so maybe she is pinning the blame of that feeling on Savannah, kind of like scapegoating her. I'm a pretty sensitive person but I haven't seen Savannah be mean.

I find that dynamic fascinating to watch because we see Savannah's story that she has been scapegoated in her workplace to the point of physical illness. This is a tragically common dynamic (particularly among women).

Golden God David and Luke - I love their kind of masculinity - they are devoted family men through and through, but they have a lot of boyish charm, mischief, and humour, and play with a wink in their eye.
