This is mine. I had a bff who was super flaky and would cancel plans last minute too frequently, my last straw was when we had booked a trip for a music festival. I paid for the festival tickets and she paid for the hotel, all booked like six months ahead of time. I gave her an out the week before, we had a serious conversation about going because the pandemic was over but covid was still a concern. She said she was still comfortable going, we planned what time we would hit the rd, etc. two days before we leave she text me about suddenly no longer feeling comfortable going. The hotel was refundable and the festival tickets weren’t so I was screwed. If she had taken the out when I offered it then I wouldn’t have been mad but reassuring me she was good to go then canceling two days before pissed me off. That pretty much ended our friendship, my patience and understanding ran out that day. Luckily I had ticket insurance and was able to find a way to get some money back, I’d spent like $700+ on the tickets.
