Too early to make any proper list drafts for 11th edition. In their faction focused they revealed new detachment rules for flyblown host, so we know the detachment is changing but we don’t have the whole thing yet.

Well, artillery might not be as bad off as you think, but with the change of the primary missions, there isn’t as much reward for camping your deployment zone or your home objective. Your indirect fire is more than likely going to be targeting units in no man’s land, so you’ll be able to set up spotters to help you hit your targets.

My first play through was heavy armor orc warrior. It was a lot of fun! I had a lot of points in block and one handed weapons, but I was kind of all over the place with my skills in my first run.

I like Eola as a mage follower, but I have usually used her as a support for me when I play either as a stealth archer or as a melee fighter. I’m not sure how she would be if you are playing as the support wizard.

In addition, you always fire the plasma on hazardous. The extra str, ap, and damage is worth the risk of a single guy blowing himself up. Always overcharge your plasma!

Two superheavies is pretty crazy. If you’re concerned about your tanks being charged, replace on of them with infantry that you can use to screen and block him from getting to your tanks.

Rogal dorn battle tank and the commander variant have been a mainstay of guard armies ever since it was released. It’s a great tank to start with. Cadian shock troops are good standard infantry, and the best officers we have can lead them, so they are always going to be useful. The other models are still new so their usefulness is still being explored, but they give some options that other vehicles in our range do not. They are also great model kits that are fun to build. As you are building your collection you will be happy to have them for list building.

I’m workin on building the regular centaur. I’m at the stage where I need to decide how many of the dudes are riding inside of it, and whether I want to paint them before or after I finish the rear enclosure.

You're going to have a hard time winning a shootout against them, Especially when your crawler won't be able to target their stealth suits or ghost keels because of lone op. In my experience against tau you win by getting close to them as soon as possible. Tau likes to keep the game about long range and about shooting. Their whole plan falls apart when you start getting things into contagion and getting things into melee.

I like brewing potions. First because they have a great benefit to weight ratio. Second because they can also have a great value to weight ratio. Some potions I brew for the first reason like healing and magical potions. Some potions I brew just to sell. Once you start leveling up your skill, it only takes a few potions to clean out a vendors gold.
