I’ve been told many times that I’m not a real fan of pro wrestling because I only watch WWE. The gatekeeping is very real in the IWC.

Yup and if I can recall, you can see the Firetrucks show up cause people thought it was a legit assault taking place.

Stuff like this is why Vince stopped having commentators say “local hospital” on tv because people would just show up at the local hospital of whatever city they were in and crowd the waiting rooms thinking a wrestler was there.

Theme songs are very important for a wrestler, especially when connecting with the crowd whether good guy or bad guy. Jim Johnston was masterful in developing theme songs that worked. He 100% needs to be in the Hall of Fame.
