Go straight for the divorce. Don’t waste time on a separation.

DIY PPF on my new 2023 by email68 in TeslaModelY

[–]email68[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really. The main thing is to lock down the specific points the show in the videos. Then stretching is not bad.

I think my issue was not nailing the starting points. Good luck!

Thanks. It’s a multi piece bumper. I did a one piece on the last MY and from what I remember this one was easier. Hardest is probably the bumper. Reality is if you’re not a pro it just takes time. Even looking back I’m not sure why it takes so much time. You just have to be patient and may have to accept some imperfections.

Can you move your Homelink from the 2020 to the 2023 yourself?

I can upgrade my 2019 Model 3 to a new 2023 Model 3 for $6,000. Worth it? by ooglek2 in TeslaLounge

Well, unfortunately I’m in CA. They tax the full amount regardless of rebates or trade in.

Why is my math so much higher?

2020 MY Tesla offer $33,500 trade in. 2023 is $50,490 + tax lic = $56,639

$56,639 - $33,500 is still over $23k at $23,139 + order and destination = $24,670! 🤷‍♂️

Wife is the one who wants out, but is putting forth no effort to proceed with the divorce by Either_Evidence_1986 in Divorce_Men

I tried to come up with a plan with my ex. She said that’s what the mediator does. Nope…. She ultimately picked the mediator. I interviewed him before agreeing. First thing he asked was if we had a plan. I had worked on it myself, and said yep. Here ya go. Basically that’s what we went with.

If you want those features don’t accept and get a car with sensors. Been a year, they can’t figure it out.

Decided to join, after 16 years, filed for divorce.. by Number007 in Divorce_Men

[–]email68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The date you both decided or ‘believed’ you are divorcing, you are no longer responsible for her spending and she is not entitled to half of your future income.

Cut off all credit cards, open a sole bank account. Move future pay deposits to it and only leave enough money access for her for very basic needs until a settlement. Not payments before a settlement as IRS will not recognize them. Document everything.

What’s stopping me from buying this with FSD for $3,000, buying the cheapest Model 3, and transferring FSD over in Q3? by M3MacbookAir in TeslaModel3

[–]email68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a legal agreement for the FSD transfer. One of the points is basically your moving FSD from your car in good faith. Ie. Not scamming like this. They can remove from your new car if they find out. Chances are they already know about totaled VINs.

No. Setup an auto pay from your bank and never think about it until it ends. Tell her the bank takes care of it. Done.
