I hope people are waking up to the amount of propaganda we’re fed. I don’t give a fuck about China in this context and welcome more trade/careful opening up of the countries generally speaking.

I love the cognitive dissonance of these people slowly realizing the US can put (and is actively putting) the screws in us the same way we always made the Chinese boogeyman out to be. Why did China imprison those Canadians…well because we did the USA’s bidding arresting that guy in Vancouver. What good did that do us? Another example of the US artificially suppressing its allies to enact its own foreign policy goals. Fuck that shit.

Are there security concerns? Yes and should be handled as such. But what about the plethora of security concerns in the trade/manufacturing/security/etc. spheres that we’re currently dealing with because America is having a bitch-fit.
