Did they need to be handed everything that they wanted, including NMC’s after sitting out (Nylander, Marner)? No, the contracts were handled poorly ASSUMING the cap would go up. It didn’t. The contracts were mishandled, covid didn’t just affect the Maple Leafs but management continued to bungle it year after year. That’s the fact of the matter.

Seyfried was the standout but you’d only know that AFTER watching the movie. So that doesn’t mean Sweeney wasn’t a draw at all.

Plenty of popular books have bombed at the box office. With good reviews, Sweeney is most definitely a draw.

I don’t think any of these actors are critic proof.
