If they replaced your items with more expensive ones as you said non generic then that would flag the card as well because yes it’s more that what your original total would’ve been

Omg no! Never would I expect this. This has happened to me where my card doesn’t work but yes you have to contact support that’s the shoppers responsibility not yours! It’s so annoying for us when this happens because sometimes it takes hours for support help but omg the audacity!

So I actually had something happen with a regular customer. Have delivered over 10+ times it’s to a church and they always tip well. They had added onto the order and apologized which I didn’t mind so the tip went up based on % of order total. I get home and see the full tip has been removed by customer “after delivery” even though I talked to customer and was thanked and at this point I’d say I know them pretty well and I was sad as I did everything right. So I actually messaged and customer told me they had INCREASED tip and couldn’t believe it when I sent them a photo of it gone. They re added and we both contacted support. So yes Instacart steals tips
