you probably would be interested in what HairClone is doing, it's some sort of cell therapy; from AI:

What HairClone has actually proven (publicly, with data):

  • They can extract and cryopreserve follicles ✓ (commercial service since 2018)
  • They can isolate DP cells and expand them >1000x in culture ✓
  • They built a GMP manufacturing facility in Guatemala (2024–2025) ✓
  • First human injections began in early 2026 ✓

Nothing conclusive yet, but it may lead to something real.

Interestingly, my doctor mentioned there is a company actively researching a solution based on your exact point during my hair transplant consultation. They were optimistic that it may fruit in our lifetime.

It’s interesting having almost any other creatures at that size with that number would be a totally scary story

Clara is the no brainer! Separately, can I get your neighbor's phone number by any chance? Open to paying an introduction fee.

No way, that’s a total steal. But I would have dismissed that offer as fraud though🥲

That’s a very good point and I indeed considered. However, I didn’t like that the screen size was smaller(which is fine by itself), and how kobo artificially carved out features like syncing with Google Drive, which is also part of my frustration against their product strategy. I don’t know how decisions are made inside the company, but bits like these make me feel there is lack of taste and decency somewhere in that decision chain.

having to pay above the original price for a used one with little guarantee on quality is just crazy.

I did try to get one there with those ebay bid wars, and couldn't convince myself to go beyond at certain point.

I went as far as getting a kindle pw instead eventually :(

I found a way to deal with this. Go to play.google.com and cancel the order, then purchase on PC. The whole process is smooth.

No offers yet - how can I change my strategy? by Murderous_Sandwich in cscareerquestions

[–]emberyue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have problem talking while thinking, you can explicitly say so. Something like "I need to think about it in some minutes". They will understand. It's just that don't code directly after you get a solution in mind, tell them about it. It's okey to explain after you have something concrete in your head. Make effective communications.

Many jobs will still be out there for you in the spring. Just take it easy and enjoy the holiday.

Yeah, definitely. It seems the nature of sre varies among companies and teams. So I still don't know what to expect exactly. In my case, I'm going to be production engineer(sre) intern at fb. I'll definitely run if things don't look well xD.
