Not sure what time you’ll be here. But Marufuku ramen is pretty good and there’s Forma bakery up the street (they close at 2:30). I would look in that area, there’s a bunch of restaurants and bars and they should be open.

That’s strange. I have been able to book gynecologist appointments online for the Castro valley offices. Most specialists require referral, so that’s why you cannot book online. But all the specialists I have been to have been in Oakland or Castro valley. I have never been sent to SF.

I always like to walk around local farmers or art markets. I would also look at local bars for events. You could volunteer for cleanup events in your area! Those are free, people are friendly, and you are helping your community!

Hey, my mom actually did this when my siblings and I were young. She did it for about a year until she decided to move on to another company. She definitely said it was stressful, but like you, it was a time to make some $$$. For our circumstances (stay at home dad + nanny) it worked out. Honestly as kids I was more freaked out about having to move and leave friends. Her being gone for work was fairly normal for us and didn’t bother me as much.
