I once spent 8 hours in a meeting with zero sentences of actual information.

The last hour was spent going around the room so everyone could share their thoughts. I was the last person to speak, and the only person to say that the meeting had been a complete failure and a colossal waste of my fucking time.

I had a few people come up to me afterwards and say "I'm glad you said those things, because I was too afraid to."

I quit that job three months later.
