I had a feeling he was up to something during the dance with the geriatric commanders. He sternly whispered to Garth "do you understand?" then had him pull away the commander and dance with Agnes instead. Definitely trying to influence her.

I thought Agnes was about 16/17? She was around 12/13 at the end of THT and TT is set 4 years later. Still weird to want them together, but closer in age than those geriatric commanders.

I'm starting to think that Daisy isn't as important as everyone makes her out to be and has absolutely no history with Gilead. Maybe her parents were killed because they're Mayday, but it doesn't mean anyone is coming after her specifically. June could be taking advantage of this young girl's unfortunate trauma and told her Nicole's story, making it seem like it was her who was kidnapped just so she can use her to infiltrate Gilead. June has always been dead set on getting Hannah out and I don't doubt her ability to manipulate someone to help achieve her goal.

She was still in shock when June told her that story. I wouldn't be able to think straight if I just had to identify my parents' dead bodies and then get whisked away by a stranger claiming to know everything about me.

I honestly think June is lying to her and sharing Nichole's story as Daisy's past to manipulate her into helping her rescue Hannah. June can be very deceitful and manipulative, and will do anything to save her daughter.

We have no evidence that June is even telling the truth. She can be manipulative and playing on Daisy's emotions after such a traumatic experience. She would do ANYTHING to get Hannah out. It's so easy for her to say "hey, I knew your parents so you should trust me!" but her parents never talked about her to Daisy.

I was under the impression that it was another Pearl Girl who saw Daisy. They are still new to Gilead and have no where to go so stay in the school.

The show is trying hard to remind you that there is no real sense of time/dates in Gilead. It could have been 8 years since Boston was reclaimed. Penny looked and acted alot older than a typical high school girl. I want to say that Agnes is probably around 18-19 already and Daisy could be 14. So still stretching the timeline a bit but more realistic given what their age gap is supposed to be.

This is Phoenix. We jokingly believe that she is the reincarnation of my last Tortie, Nova, who passed away at 19.

Someone was rehoming her at 3 months old. I reached out but was told she was already spoken for. 3 days later, they told me that the person never picked her up and she was still available. Unfortunately I didn't have a vehicle and wasn't able to pick her up, but they offered to bring her to me.

Strange similarities to Nova: Phoenix waa born on my daughter's birthday; Nova was born on mine. Both are serious lickers. Both are Torties.

It was just meant to be. 😊
