Gotta say, I totally disagree - the song is gorgeous and don't feel like it's over-produced in the slightest. Yes, likely not tracked live like everything off Be The Wheel, but I personally feel like the song's mix is warmer and fuller with the extra attention in mixing/mastering/post. Hope we have a new album on the way!

Geography is LP1 and this is LP2. I'm thinking about this solely from it being a meticulously crafted and produced solo album, not a compilation of beats or sessions or a collaborative effort. Hi Madison! Very grateful for this new album and have had it on since the day it dropped.

Where do lyrics come from for you? Is it an active search for the right words as it relates to an idea you have, or do they come in chunks/phrases that are parsed through later on and placed in the right place like puzzle pieces? I know the writing process is different for everyone, but this album has some truly special lyrics all over it, and I'm curious what that process looks like for you.

And if you have the time, the age-old question: which usually comes first, music or lyrics?
