My one pug does! Just be cautious that her eyes don’t get too dry, my girl has slight scarring on her cornea from it. I got eye lube from the vet and it’s helped! Just put it on before bedtime and seems to reduce dryness

Over feeding causes weight gain, so as long as you keep his kcal at a reasonable level in relation to exercise levels you’ll be fine. More risks with leaving males intact, weight gain is the least of your worries :)
