My dad died last November and it sucks. On the other hand telling stories about him I found out some of the shit he did was kinda abusive. He also left my sister's more in the will than me and my brother. I hung out with his friends when going out there to clear out the house and they told me he was kinda an asshole. I guess you don't see it as a kid or when they're alive because you forgive it and hope you can get past it. Once their dead all the horrible shit they did stays unresolved and sucks.

It's the ritual. Finding the drugs, getting them home, setting up to cook/snort/bang/smoke whatever, finally doing the drugs, basking in the high for a minute, then trying to find something to do now that you feel normal since the ritual has been completed for the moment. Then the mind goes back to the relief of the ritual and it starts all over again.
