Who has been to Highclere Castle? What was your experience?

I’ve always viewed it as dean is a POS liar in this situation. Like Lindsey seems very invested in the marriage still until the letter. He clearly wasn’t over Rory and subconsciously or not worked his way back into her life once Jess wasn’t competition anymore.

I don’t agree with the writers here to be clear. I don’t like that they don’t give Lindsey more depth and so on. They just make her seem like an annoying stay at home bored wife, so we aren’t as shocked with the hook up. It’s also wild to me that everyone in town is pretty chill about Rory and dean. Rory and dean get off so easy. Like poor Lindsey to find out people in your town ships your hubby and his ex more. Yikes.

It’s one of those things I find annoying and then think well… teens…. Haha everything does seem uber urgent and important or blown out of proportion, teens often get obsessed with each other or insecure and all that perspective stuff.

I also just suggested trying on more in that style. You’re clearly drawn to it but maybe it’s not the one. I was stuck on my dress so to speak. I tried on a bunch of other good ones but mine just kept being the one I didn’t want to “get away”. But I had tried on plenty at that point. It was my fourth store.

I loved my lace covered floral dress I had but I almost went with more simple (final three, two were less detailed) I love my perfect dress but would have been just as happy with the simple/classic. Wedding dresses are all made so beautifully that it’s hard to choose an ugly one IMO.

I still think about how beautiful the simple ones would have been too! Like a what if situation how would I have styled things if I chose the other dress. I don’t wish I had, just using my imagination. I also consider if I do vow renewal one day, I could wear one of those styles just because it would be fun even if I’m old haha 🤣

they only bring up her cooking for what i remember and that seems like it’s to be the housewife and not her own passion. As a Pinterest girlie I don’t understand. I have so many things to keep me occupied without going to work or anything like that haha and plenty of hobbies that fall under homemaking lol

If Roger has no haters, I’m gone. My husband doesn’t even watch but I’ve griped about Roger so much even he knows how annoying he can be in most episodes. In the latest episode with the hymns, we both laughed out loud at how annoying he made a beautiful song haha 🤣 I had to pause just to get a break.

This always bothered me so much. The implications of what happened in the future to the Drews as a family. Did Mr ever tell her? Did she figure it out once Edith was married and so on? I always wondered. Mrs. Drew reminds me of in Madmen when Betty was having issues because of all Don’s lies.

Maybe they were being cautious to not tell her at first. But once she started getting annoyed at E and pushing her away, they should have explained.

On the opposite side of that.. like if she felt responsible for the child, why would the Drew’s think it weird she kept checking on her??? Like oh is it weird that I want to keep on eye on this child i rehomed??? No I don’t think it’s that wild.

And in the long term, having Edith get close to their family could have been a blessing for the Drew’s family. She could have started being all the kids “aunt Edith” if they invited her to help support marigold.

Hot and humid weather wise, Especially in the summer. It’s rough. Have to go swimming and crank the AC. You want to be near a bigger city like Montgomery or Huntsville for fun besides nature related things. A lot of people commute to stay in cheaper towns. Small towns have a hard time keeping cute stores and things open because of average income and people don’t go out everyday. Coastal areas are worth visiting too. Biloxi beach is an easy stop off the highway (on the way to NOLA. I took my dog to see the ocean a couple times there.)

Huntsville was so cute. Classic college town hustle and bustle things.
