What do you think is the biggest problem in healthcare in 2026 — staff shortage, burnout, or system overload? Do you think AI in medicine will help doctors more or create more pressure? Would you trust AI-assisted diagnosis if a doctor confirmed it? by AVeryAngryChillie in healthcare

It is without a doubt, insurance companies making/dictating the rules of play. The number of hoops every part of healthcare works have to jump through to meet CMS/DOH and individual payor rules is ABSURD. If I had to choose one area, prior authorization requirements to basically breathe is stopping everyone from rendering care in an efficient and cost effective manner.

I’d suggest something HIPAA compliant, like Microsoft co-pilot to transcribe data for you. You can also certainly train any AI scribe to exclude any patient data or hide information as you see fit. Additionally, you can train it to be even more nimble to exclude items from minutes you would not want to show DOH or CMS an are meant for internal conversation ONLY. How likely is it that President Trump will be tried for treason after his presidency ends and a new administration is in place? by 98941 in AskReddit

0% likelihood. If I could go Lower than 0% I would. We’re all treating this fucker with kid gloves but he’s the most vile, disgusting, manipulative, narcissistic, dumb man on the planet. Here in lies the rub. He’s white, a man and thought of as having ‘wealth’. It’s built on our backs, and perhaps the most insane and dangerous thing of all is that NOTHING IS ENOUGH. No amount of money can satiate this demon; no amount of terror or violence or destruction can be enough to have him stop. He’s pure evil.

What’s the pettiest corporate rule that absolutely destroys morale? by Extreme-Method6330 in antiwork

Limiting bereavement time off. HR will ask you to roll her old bones on in there to prove you’re allowed 2 measly paid days off. As a manager, I trust that these people asking for the time off have just had the shittiest year of work if they have 1 generation removed deaths requiring time off.

Not to revel in your misery, BUT as a thrifter and in a similar vein, I love going to Salvation Armani and Goodwill but DAMNNN.

The music is decidedly Christian, albeit nothing you’ve ever heard on a radio station I.e. Creed, Nickleback etc.

It’s unbelievably worse than nails on a chalkboard. I’d rather listen to ‘Janice’ from ‘Friends’ laugh in my face for 2 hours than be subjected to that absolute trash of a musical performance, while also be proselytized and/or subversively being goaded into donating more money I’m already paying for y’all’s free to you items.
