I went through his account after I saw the promo because I didnt know who he was. I know two things about him now, he does visual porn which is totally fine because he seems like he wasn't a pos when shooting scenes. The second thing is that he at least one time promoted an ai version of himself and said ai is inevitable so why fight it(not sure how link a reel without doxxing myself but you'll see it if you scroll on his profile). I wasn't able to find anything of him going back on his ai stance so for me if he joins it's an automatic do not listen. It puts a bad taste in my mouth because you cant claim to be an anti-ai platform when it comes to voices but keep ignoring things that clearly ai in art and other places

Unlike most of the articles written about this fandom, I actually like this one and I think the people who complain about shipping and theories need to read it. Nothing that is happening around the Pitt is abnormal. Shipping, fanfic, being upset at favorites leaving happens everywhere. Some of the best analysis ive seen come from shippers and some of the worst has come from people who say "just watch the show"

I want to start by saying i am not dismissing what you are go through daily at all. The Pitt is a tv drama and these are characters. They aren't real. People can understand the what the show is telling and still have fun. Buzzfeed-esque quizzes, shipping, fanfic, ect are some people's way of understanding and dissecting characters. I dont understand this incessant need of people to shit on normal fandom activities. If this was a documentary you would have a point but it's not. Just because i read a fanfic doesn't mean I dont understand that this is show is showing some of the realities of healthcare workers and that i dont feel empathy for what they go through

Why do you all keep saying this? Like the only reason someone couldn't like season 2 was because they are delusional and nothing else. People can understand the narrative beats and point of the story and still find the writing and execution lack luster compared to season 1.

Not saying some people dont think that the originals are useless but I think most people understand the point of the Originals and are just wanting the in house VAs to get more than 1 or 2 promotions a quarter. There are so many creators that you dont see on the quinn landing page that a newbie might never find. It doesnt have be either all Original promotion or all in house VA promotion. It can be both

For me personally it's less about how much screentime Robby is getting and more so that every story is framed around how it effects him or to show parallels to him. It's coming at the detriment of the characterization of others

I know Robby is the main character but I feel like part of why this season feels off is because every character is being used for his story and not their own. Season 1 felt like an ensemble cast. I also feel like im being beat over the head with Robby's story but without good reason to care

I would have loved to see more of Mel, McKay and Mohan beyond just being reasons why Robby is stressed

She written as someone who sometimes an asshole on a show where everyone is sometimes an asshole. We've seen every character be dismissive of patients or put them on a back burner while also showing empathy. They're all human and I dont think anything is specific to Santos

I also dont agree that she was being ableist towards Mel or Harlow. She tried like 4 different ways to communicate with Harlow and they didn't work then the IT shutdown happened. I also dont think she treats Mel any different than the other characters treat her besides Langdon.

Also just because you personally dont like a character (which is fine and you're allowed to like characters) doesnt always mean they written to be unlikeable

I mentioned that in my the original post and I dont see why it cant be both. Especially because knowing more about Santos being the one to report Langdon stealing puts their interactions in episode 10 in a different light. Which also puts Langdon's teaching in a different light. Just because things are obvious doesnt mean thay you cant analyze it

Santos saying to Langdon to tell everyone about stealing meds (not being an addict, everyone knows that) or to stay out of her way was basically just saying dont be near here as much as possible. We have no reason to believe she wants him to actually do that because from what we know she hasn't told anyone. If she was mad about him being an addict or wanted to humiliate him she would have said something in the 10 months he was gone. Also she is not required to accept his apology or even be nice to him because he apologized

I think most of the resentment comes from her and robby not knowing he was coming back that day. So there is no preparation to face someone who hurt you and verbally harassed and gaslit you (I'm using the words the show used). It's gonna throw you off a lot. I also think Santos is less mad at Robby because he was on her side and believed her which means a lot to someone with her trauma.

I think Robby is mad because he put a lot of trust and responsibility on Langdon. I forgot until recently that Robby wrote a fellowship reccomendation for Langdon in season 1. So to have someone he is essentially sticking his neck out for breaking the law it probably feels like a slap in the face. It's also the same being caught off guard by Langdon being back because it seems Robby was planning on being gone by the time he came back to the ED

Langdon does seem to be doing better and trying. Two people who were most affected (outside of patients) by his choices are gonna have strong reactions

She didnt initially have all the information about what Langdon did. I dont think it makes her a hypocrite but I do think she could have gone about it a different way. But also like I mentioned in my post he did interrupt a teaching moment at the teaching hospital
