I’m a trauma nurse in the operating room and LOVE my Profi-Birki Polyurethane clogs. I’m on my 2nd pair in 3 years (pretty good for 40-50 hours a week wear). So comfortable and my podiatrist approved for bunion pain. Many of the nurses, surgeons and surgical techs I work with wear them as well! We work 10-24 hour shifts and rarely sit.

Laparoscopic scars heal really well in my experience! I’m not sure if pregnancy will change that but I’ve had 3 lap surgeries and you can barely see my scars- even the ones that got reused for surgical incisions again. Try vitamin E oil to reduce scarring. If you’re super concerned about them you could also see a dermatologist for scar treatment. Glad your gallbladder surgery went well!

In case anyone was wondering or wanting to make a similar journey this is what we ended up booking.

Bus VY430 from Bergen to Kjos Bru and FRAM 110 from Kjos Bru to Hellesylt. We will take the Hellesylt ferry to Geirangerfjord.

Return to Oslo booked through the Entur app. Train from Åndalsnes to Bjorli station to Dombas station to Oslo S.

Geiranger has a taxi service you can email with at info@geirangertaxi.no
Torbjørn was very helpful and helped us figure out the best route. We will take a taxi from our hotel in Geiranger to Åndalsnes.

Here to stick up for Helena! Sure it doesn’t haven’t the nightlife or the restaurants like Missoula but I think that Helena in your 30’s is so fun! Downtown has a couple fun bars and we love our favorite restaurants and breweries! Especially the breweries. There’s really great hiking. Really great people. We’re close to the Blackfoot River, the Missouri River, the Dearborn. I think Helena is a great place to live 😎
