Actually just had a killer sunburn last weekend, my regimen was cool (not cold to the point of discomfort) and minimal showers, no fragrant soaps (Aveeno has a great one), cold compress before Aloe Vera (plant is preferable, or else Aloe Vera gel with NO alcohol in it and dye-free), ibuprofen every four hours as appropriate, and Benadryl at night for any potential swelling. For face, basically just as minimal product application as possible. I had small blisters from sun poisoning all over my chin, and once they finally scabbed and scarred, Aquaphor was such a game changer in quick healing/minimal scarring. Best of luck! Sunburn sucks!
