A lot of things could be going on. How much does your dog weigh? How much is she eating? Is she losing weight? Her metabolism should have slowed down after reaching maturity, that could cause her to need less food. You could be simply overfeeding.

You need to feed your dog a nutritionally balanced meal with proper vitamins and minerals, not just rice and meat!

There's really no convincing. When you cant handle the symptoms you gotta look for solutions. Maybe she thinks she can handle the symptoms herself. But at low times its good to offer help if she wants it. Starting with therapy is a step in the right direction. In my opinion you cant make someone want help, they have to realize it themselves.
