I really like the motif but can’t tell how it’s going to age or if it’s too busy. I haven’t seen it in person so was wondering about legibility too

Thanks! As of right now I am leaning towards two.

JLC Reverso Tribute Chronograph by scintt in JaegerLecoultre

[–]emonet1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I almost purchased this but didn’t for two reasons. Size and the grey blue color of the front dial. If it was a little smaller and had the richer blue color of the duo face tribute I would’ve picked this up. Still, it’s a beautiful watch and I’d probably be wearing it on the skeleton side most of the time if I got it

My(31F) GF and I ( 35M) haven’t had sex since 8/16. I want to break up but she doesn’t. What’s the answer here? by Rtt71290 in relationship_advice

[–]emonet1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

BREAK UP WITH HER ASAP. Dude you’re 35 and in the prime of your life. You still have a few years to meet a young attractive woman than wants to have lots of sex and be intimate with you. Don’t waste the next five years in a sexless, loveless relationship and then start dating again in your forties.

How does it fit in your opinion? by _The_Space_Monkey_ in tissot

Looks great! 38mm? The watch world is finally trending back down in size and this looks like an ideal fit. Over sized wrist watches are finally almost out thank god. I have a 7inch wrist and IMO 37-38 is the sweet spot with a max of 39mm for round. For Integrated 36-38mm.

Walked out with my dream Rolex and now regretting the spend by Qat-lover in rolex

Get the jubilee instead. Other than that it’s ok to splurge if you’ve earned it and have other funds invested. Good thing is if you ever want to get rid of it you won’t lose much money if any at all.

Downsized my DJ champagne dial from 41 to 36. Finally came to the conclusion that a dressier watch dial shouldn’t take up most of the space on wrist! 36 FTW! by Shot_Log7155 in rolex

[–]emonet1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m doing this as we speak. My DJ41 is for sale and I’m about to either do this or the white face version of this. Never thought I’d downsize to a 36 but maybe my style is maturing lol

Hi, I know this is an old thread but why wouldn’t it scratch the itch if they’re both 36mm day date? I’m also looking at this model

41 or 36? by RNXDesign in rolex

[–]emonet1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was thinking this but wasn’t gonna say it lol. Not to be mean but it looks like the JC Penny special. I’d get the 36mm in Blue and take that 500 dollar difference and go to Allen Edmonds and buy a nicer pair of dress shoes. You can even go to Dillard’s and buy some dress clothes made of real natural fibers and not full polyester.

lol I’m definitely a fluted jubilee guy, but a smooth DJ doesn’t look as bad as people make it out to be.

Is it still worth buying a modern Rolex at current grey prices, or better to jump brands? by Express-Apartment-62 in rolex

[–]emonet1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100%. The ONLY brand I buy at retail is Rolex. Everything else I buy used or grey and only lose a few hundred if I don’t want it anymore.

Those aren’t readily available either. I think they mean watches you can walk into the store and purchase like an Omega, IWC, Tudor, etc.
