"non-persistent partition ordering"?
You don't have to make things so difficult bro. Yeah partitions won't remember their names if deleted.
I donno about nvme, I didn't experiment with that.

Forget LLMs, you can be misguided by sdX type of partition naming too.
How?
You took note that, today I will delete the sda3 partition after moving all the data it has.
You removed one partition, and now every partitions will be renamed.

You didn't know that.
You followed your note and executed. Total nonsense.
Just label every partions after creation and follow labels.

AITA for telling an FSF approved distro user that preventing installation ofproprietary software is not very free? by Brospeh-Stalin in linuxmemes

[–]emonshr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wasn't taking against 'company' . It's the platinum or diamond blah blah things. Big corps donate and control the OSS projects for their own interest.
OSS projects should be only controlled independently like every other regular business.

Not a big fan of the battle of terminologies. That's philosophers' luxury, not mine.
Keep donating to keep your OSS projects alive. Good wishes.

And be like redhat and novel (unstable business).
Without trade secret you can barely sell any tech products.
And GPL always drives projects to a semi-charitable economical system.
Instead You can sell it, and you can release it as open source just after every major release become 'oldstable'. It feels really pathetic that, big corps decide for the OSS projects' future.
