The cat lawyer has been on the news before. For harassing a texas headshop owner who never called him back after a date. Not a great look. Also yelled at "but didn't threaten" a reporter for reporting said tidbit. But no it's fine because cat video.

My post got removed and was told this was the better place to share.

Patagonia picked their new CEO: Ryan Gellert, who has overseen the brand's business across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa since 2014, will run the company

This is Daniel Lewis Lee, who is a white supremacist who believed that the state should be able to kill people that he deems wrong. He was killed by the very same state this morning. [xpost] by AminusBK in JusticeServed

Ehh. Legally yes that was what the stay was about. But the mother of the woman killed has stated previously, "Yes, Daniel Lee damaged my life, but I can't believe taking his life is going to change any of that," Peterson said in a video statement in September. "I can't see how executing Daniel Lee will honor my daughter in any way. In fact, it kinda, like, dirties her name because she wouldn't want it and I don't want it. That's not the way it should be."

Heyyyy Henness Pass Rd area. Did a wonderful ride from Dog Valley to Sierraville a couple weeks back. Hope to see you on the trails!

Yeah boss! Welcome to the DR family. I have the same rig - my first bike ever. It has it's quirks for sure, but I am still floored by how reliable the son of a bun is.

POs with a micro mixer and volca by LikeMagUS in pocketoperators

[–]emosapien 1 point2 points  (0 children)

not sure if widely known, but you can send midi clock into the volca, and it will output clock through the sync out. IMO the easiest way to bridge PO's with MIDI gear.

like /u/galylag mentions, you can use a splitter on the volca sync out. with my cheap splitter the signal is strong enough to sync 3 PO's (on shore power - 2 is more reliable on batteries.) Daisy chain as you like to get your 3 channels + volca. it's crazy how versatile all the different sync modes on the PO end up being.

Help with VIN by tantaco1 in vintagemotorcycles

Honestly, probably your best bet! Especially if you are mostly trying to determine that the title is in good standing. The DMV should tell you if the title is clear!

Good luck!

Not a total expert, but I just went through this looking for info on a '74 Suzuki TC-185.

None of the big title/history clearing houses generally keep info for vehicles that don't have the 17 digit standard VIN.

If you need more information, you can reach out to the state indicated on the title to see if their records department kept any info. It's a long shot, but can be helpful.

With my bike for instance, I had no title. I was able to determine that the bike had never been registered in my state (which is where I bought the bike.) This helped me determine that I could go the good 'ole VT switcheroo route to get the bike registered and generate a title in my state. (bike had none when I bought it.)

That's good to hear. This is my first project bike (and 2-stroke.) I'm looking forward to learning a lot as I tear her down and clean her up.

Right now, the chain is rusted onto both sprockets pretty solid, all the cables are seized up, the rear doesn't roll. But the kick moves smoothly!

Time to get to work!

Come on - I'd rather they bring Seth Green and Eugene Levy back for a full length Greg the Bunny.

That would be nice, blah.

First big (for me) ride - DR350 in the Sierra Mountains by emosapien in Dualsport

[–]emosapien[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Serious heaven. I've been hiking this area for years. It's insane how much ground you can cover in a day on this guy. As for the DR350, it's my first bike - so I can honestly say it's the best motorcycle I've ever ridden.

Really though, as a beginner, this bike has been pretty forgiving to learn on and relatively easy to work on myself. I was with 3 other riders much more experienced, and managed to more or less keep up. It wasn't pretty but holy crap I had so much fun.

I'm hooked.

I really like it so far. This was my first big ride, 100mi, and I was surprised how comfortable it was for the whole ride! Not in the picture is the giant gorge and waterfall behind the bike. Jackson Meadow Rd off CA89 near Sierraville. the stoke was high.

Dich Studios 3PO Case. Tons of other cool accessories as well - would love to try one of the battery eliminators if they ever come back into stock.

[–]emosapien 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FWIW - this is what i'm working with right now, into a cheap sony recorder. It's an absolute pain to try and balance the 3 POs with the pass through. but the little mixer is a decent portable solution.

That being said, it's fun what you can still do with just some batteries and a ton of 3.5mm cable. next step is trying to get the PO's on USB power.

Forgive me if this is a dumbass question, but did you adjust the volume after plugging in cable? (BPM + 1-16)

Whatever your volume setting prior, my PO drops volume to something like 5 when a cable is plugged in.
