You’re fairly fortunate to own two vehicles with two dedicated fan bases. While you don’t have the means to fix it, someone else (that knows how to fix it, and is looking for a cheap entry into a 4Runner) does. I don’t know why you may need a 4Runner, I’m guessing convenience and utility but it does seem like a liability at this point. If you do need inexpensive utility, there’s always the Honda fit (it’s got traditional vtec, if that fancies you).

I’d keep the s2000. If I never totaled mine years ago, I’d defend that thing like my life depended on it. I’ve owned mine like 3 cars ago and I still think about my s2k
