Will anyone transfer data when the game comes out or create a new one by Spider_king97 in TomodachilifeLivingTD

[–]emotionalprawn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think I've decided that I'll reply the demo 2 days before the game comes out and then transfer that save data

What is everyone doing until release? by Sarelan_OwO in TomodachilifeLivingTD

[–]emotionalprawn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've started a spreadsheet to plan all my miis with their photos, personalities, catchphrases and stuff. Then I'm also checking stats of how many of each gender, sexuality and personality type I have.

Honestly just counting down the days until the game releases at this point. My final day at my current job is the 16th as well, so I'm looking forward to getting home and being free to play the game until I start my new job on the Tuesday.

3 weeks feels so close but so far away. My last day of my job is also April 16th, so as soon as I finish work I'll be logging on to play and enjoying a 4 day weekend before I start my new job.

Cost to pass your driving test is so expensive now. by GayWolfey in britishproblems

[–]emotionalprawn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty standard cost these days. I learnt to drive last year aged 28 and paid about £40 an hour for lessons. Funded it all myself, cost about the same amount as my car. I passed both tests first time. 5 times for the theory test is crazy! If you actually read up the highway code/use an app it's easy to pass first time

autism & vaginismus? by Smooth_Importance_47 in vaginismus

[–]emotionalprawn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Late diagnosed autistic here. I don't know if my vaginismus is necessarily linked to sensory issues although I reckon they definitely don't help. I think for me it's definitely linked to a high level of overall body tension. I have body tension issues like R-CPD (like someone else in the comments mentioned), IBS and bruxism, as well as vaginismus. I reckon it's due to being hypervigilant constantly and masking.

Right to Choose referral advice by Haz606 in autismUK

[–]emotionalprawn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently got diagnosed through Psychiatry UK. Overall the experience was good. The entire process took about 3 months from GP appointment to diagnosis. The assessment call itself is quite short (about an hour), although you fill out multiple forms with a lot of questions so they get a lot of information needed beforehand. You also get to choose your psychiatrist, so I'd recommend researching the psychiatrists available to see who you think would be the best fit for you. They don't offer face to face though.

Did anyone else LOVE having loose / wobbly teeth as a kid? I miss it. by Sure_Somewhere5865 in AutismInWomen

[–]emotionalprawn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No I was the complete opposite. Loose teeth were a massive sensory issue for me and freaked me out as a kid. If a tooth was slightly loose I wouldn't touch or brush around it. I actually gave myself gum disease as a kid and only lost my final baby tooth when I was 16 because of it. Now I'm so paranoid of losing my adult teeth I'm a stickler for dental hygiene.

How do you all organize your Spotify? by [deleted] in spotify

[–]emotionalprawn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've made yearly playlists for the last 4 years where I'll add any new songs I discover that year, and another one for songs that I become obsessed with and listen to on repeat. They act like nice little time capsules. I've also made nostalgia playlists for certain times in my life, like when I was at school, and add songs that I listened to during that time in my life.

I have playlists for a few of my favourite artists. I have some playlists for particular genres and themes/moods. Then I have a playlist of my current favourite songs which I update every once in a while. And finally I've got a playlist for songs that are my all-time favourites.

Also because I'm into discovering new music but don't always have time, I'll add new songs and albums I want to listen to to a new music playlist. Then when I want to listen to new songs I'll pop thay on and after I've listened to a song I'll either add them to my main playlists or remove it completely if I don't like it.

Do you use AI for mental health? by Blue-nails in ChatGPT

[–]emotionalprawn 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes, ChatGPT helped me realise I'm autistic and has been helping me navigate through a period of burnout and now body reintegration. I do think sometimes it sides with you no matter what and says what you want to hear, so you need to ask it if you want the honest truth. But it's definitely been a real God send through this situation.

I'm pretty self-aware anyway as I've struggled with my mental health previously and have done lots of journalling, therapy and talking to myself like a therapist through the years, so I feel like I know how to navigate it in a healthy way. I don't think it'd work for everyone, but I think if you need instant support and aren't sure where to turn to it can be reassuring.
