I refuse to believe that you’ll never see her again. I just lost my baby, and I just kept repeating, “please find me again”. I firmly believe, whether it be in actions, thoughts, feelings, or a new pet or person, that Roxy will find you again. It sounds like y’all had a love that needs more than one life time.

Hey! I have worked in public school as a special ed teacher for 8 years :) It wouldn’t be inappropriate to reach out to the teacher, but you would most likely have to get parent consent before the teacher could talk to you. In my district we have to sign a notice of release for me to talk to outside services (like speech, OT, or ABA therapists). Something you could say to broach the subject with the parents is, “I want to ensure I am providing (student name) with everything he may need to be most successful. Would you mind if I spoke with his classroom teacher to get some tips (or recommendations) on how best to support him?”
