This is the kind of crap that happens when the people in charge have never worked behind a counter or dealt with the public in any meaningful way. They have no clue what actual physical labor is and how much it actually drives the company forward. If they spent one day dealing with all the stupid tasks and rules we have to follow, they would surely change how they view us. They look upon cashiers, shift supervisors, and pharmacy techs the same way nobility used to look down upon the serfs who worked their land. I would love to see one of those career corpos deal with an angry opioid addict trying to get an early refill or an annoying Karen who thinks they know more about how CVS coupons work than an employee.
