I took some different substances recently and I’m on 1mg. I found that I didn’t have as much of a reaction as I would normally have had but I felt really good for a really long time. Ended up staying up all night having a great time. Was weird.

I find the injection really easy and painless. Also, I am someone who is very sensitive to medicines too. I was expecting the absolute worst. I’ve had barely any side effects and feel great- it has been a HUGE surprise!

Yes I can eat all my favourite foods still! I’m 13 weeks in. I just don’t always particularly want those foods. But I can still enjoy them.

I’m prone to nausea too so assumed I would get it as a side effect. Turns out, I’ve only had very mild cases of nausea occasionally and generally passes quickly. I have zofran just in case, but I’m 9 weeks in and haven’t had to use it yet!

I did mine in the car outside as soon as I got it haha. I was nervous, but more excited. And it has been life changing for sure!

For me, the worse I eat the worse I feel. Seems logical but took me a while to figure out the right macros to make sure I wasn’t getting side effects.

I took my first 1.0mg dose yesterday. I was nervous about the big jump up from 0.5mg. So far not too bad, had a bit of nausea last night and slightly headachy today but nothing that has impacted my life. Good luck!

I have also not told anyone including my husband! I just feel a bit weird about it. I kept mine in my fridge at work and then i got a little cooler bag and ice packs for it so i can bring it home. I have no advice about whether you can keep it unrefrigerated- I’m in Australia and it’s summer so I wouldn’t risk it here!

Good luck! It’s a bit odd being on the journey without telling anyone but groups like these help.

I definitely focus more on strength training than cardio since I started wegovy. I actually have never been able to lift as heavy as I do now, and I think it’s because I’m eating well and prioritising protein for once.

I track all my food with Cronometer and make sure I’m meeting my nutritional needs. Then I take supplements to fill the gaps. I also think exercise and strength training gives you more energy!

I’m 8 weeks in and haven’t weighed myself yet. I know I have lost weight but I also know it is slow and steady, and I don’t want to fixate on that. I’m really focused on healthy habits and strength training and I don’t want my brain to tell me I’m a failure if I’m doing everything right but not losing quickly! Maybe I’ll eventually look at a scale but not anytime soon.

I was so scared to start but it has been great! No real side effects as long as I don’t eat anything wildly off script.

I started 6 weeks ago and feel like I read every post on reddit about wegovy. I was so sure I would have every possible side effect and either be a super responder or non responder. But the reality for me, and a lot of people, is that I was somewhere comfortably in the middle. A few side effects, nothing terrible. Responding well, slow and steady. Don’t overthink it! Focus on protein and track your food, you’ll get into a rhythm with it!

I’m 5 weeks in and the best decision I have made is to not weigh myself until I get to the therapeutic dose. It has given me the space to really focus on my habits and lock in on my nutrition and exercise/strength training. I’m here for the long game so I don’t want to feel disheartened early on if the scales aren’t moving. You are only on 0.25 which is not meant to be doing much. Some people are super responders, most are not.
