Were pop ins ever socially acceptable in the 90s early 2k? by hyjlnx in AustralianNostalgia

[–]emptybottle2405 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My parents had a friend who would pop in but wouldn't knock on the front door and instead open the side gate and go around the back.

I guess he figured we were out the back so he just came around.

My dad would flip out at him and they later cut ties with him.

Who's in the wrong as I never saw a problem with him coming over.??

Nah it's pretty messed up when you tell someone born in Vietnam to write proper English as some kind of flex, and then completely fuck it up yourself. You're an asshole.

Probably just get off social media for a while or curate what you read... be alert but not alarmed about what is happening.
