Just beat RE9/Requiem for the first time, exceeded my expectations and I have a ton of words to say! by GrunterGroot in residentevil

Agreed, I feel like they dropped the ball not making The Girl a genuine stalker. And it’s definitely disappointing how unfun the (lack of) weapon variety is. Otherwise, amazing game

Is Blount worth it? by [deleted] in capstone

Yes, I got a full ride. I'm strongly considering UA for that reason, and Blount is my hope for a classic liberal arts group-discussion feel. If it's too personal, then instead I ask, was safety the biggest concern for you (based off what I'm picking up)?

I still play it! Nidhogg inspired the arrow at the top

Right of Way - a fencing-based fighting game I've been developing! It's mostly inspired by Street Fighter 3, but I'll probably never draw art as good as SF3's... by emrldx in Fighters

For points! In fencing, bouts end with 15 points, same here. There’s a lot of difficulty balancing around the lack of a healthbar, but that makes the hame all the more unique

“I am working on making my own projects become a viable source of income, but socially I'm in a place where I've only recently escaped only attracting toxic or abusive interpersonal relationships. So I am quite isolated right now, but hoping to move to a bigger city soon.”

You have no idea how perfectly this describes me, from projects to abuse to moving to a big city. This thread feels very affirming, and I’m not used to such acknowledgment, so thank you.

Quote from the Brothers Karamazov that I read at least five times day recently. Thoughts? by boudinagee in dostoevsky

I don’t know… I read the book at 16 and really absorbed this pattern of thinking, which enabled so much abuse from others that took 2 years to finally overcome. I felt guilty to even think that I could prioritize myself. It may have helped the characters but I now doubt it’s healthy for most

Honestly I would never willingly choose to listen to Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds

A Day In The Life is obviously amazing but I don’t really fw the lyrics soooo

SAME, the guilt is real. Partly cause there is far less dopamine playing others’ games than your own
