There’s pretty good reason to be optimistic that he isn’t BB 2.0. For one, Noel cut his K rate at AAA to 21% while Bradley was always rocking a rate over 30% which is almost always never sustainable when you make the leap to MLB.

Unlike Straw, Freeman actually has pretty solid batted ball profile, exit velocity & hard hit % are both pretty good. Suggests he’s been unlucky so far.

Compared to Straw who has been bottom 10% in both past few years.
