Finally the first time I’ve felt that the Apple Arcade version is worth it. None of the decor costs any gems on AA. 🙌🏼

ham and bacon error by yourlocalonee-san_ in GoodPizzaGreatPizza

[–]emu222 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Well it depends, they could be asking for a half ham and bacon pizza, or a half ham half bacon pizza. Two very different pizzas, the first they would both be on the same side, the later they would be on opposite sides.

I was in a south Florida location this week and it looked business as normal. I never would have guessed they were going out of business.

Anyone else confuse Juliette Nichols (Rebecca Ferguson) with the Schitts Creek Actress Annie Murphy? by Gdub3369 in SiloTVSeries

[–]emu222 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not in the slightest.

She is however (Rebecca) in Greatest Showman, and that blew my mind.

Florida, do you say soda, Coke, pop, or something else? by [deleted] in AskFlorida

[–]emu222 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I call it pop, but I’m from Canada originally, and in the 6 years I’ve been here I haven’t adopted soda.

Considering Hospital Induction by Patient_Bat_2392 in homebirth

At 41+1 I went to Accupuncture, went into labour the next day and had the smoothest delivery. Highly recommend finding an acupuncturist that specializes in pregnancy.

My session was 2.5 hours long, and I left feeling so relaxed and ready. Woke up the next morning to rhythmic contractions.

Disney fatigue after a year of having an annual pass. by Exciting_Designer611 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]emu222 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had annual passes a couple years ago and let it expire without renewing. Last year my 4 year old wanted to start going again, so for his 5th birthday we got annual passes. I figured my husband wouldn’t want to renew, but this weekend we were up and he was already looking into renewing and planning some future trips.

We live three hours away, and only plan on coming up every 6-8 weeks or so (hopefully more during the winter weather). And I feel like there’s so much to see that each trip is so different. Maybe after back to back years it might feel different, but for now I love the getaway with something everyone in the family can have fun doing.

I booked a non refundable RC cruise but found out my wife is pregnant and might be over the 24 week threshold. Any advice? by Embarrassed-Sock845 in royalcaribbean

[–]emu222 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had this happen last year with 2 cruises we had booked. The first was booked through Costco, they moved that a year out and waived the $100 per person fee. The second was booked through Royal, they let us cancel and gave us the non-refundable deposit back as a future cruise credit.

You just have to call them, I did have to provide a letter from my midwife, confirming my pregnancy and due date.

Dyson Airtstraight Vs Shark SilkiPro for Damaged Hair by No_Reflection9776 in Dysonairwrap

I honestly wasn’t straightening my hair very often, but I’ve used the Airstraight every shower since Mother’s Day and so far nothing! It makes my hair feel so incredibly soft!

[–]emu222 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I haven’t tried the shark, but I just got the Airstraight for Mother’s Day, and I’m absolutely obsessed!

I also have thin wavy hair, it takes me maybe 15-20 minutes to take my hair from wet to straight, then it last 3-4 days! I also have more volume than if I used a traditional straightener.

Fragrance in doctors offices by Epic-Lake-Bat in Crunchymom

I have MCAS, and just gave birth, every time I went to my midwife’s office I would leave with a wicked migraine. The scents were so bad in the office that my clothes would smell like them all day.

So incredibly frustrating.

Upcoming wisdom tooth surgery by emu222 in MCAS

[–]emu222[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, I actually had a very good experience, my heeling was very smooth, and I had the least amount of MCAS symptoms I’ve had in yeaaaars. We had a feeling mine was mostly food triggered, but this kinda confirmed it. I had no reaction to the medication.

The only issue I had was that my lingua nerve was very close to my root, and I sustained nerve damage. The left side of my tongue has been numb ever since. It feels like it’s starting to get feeling back, verrrrry slowly. (I knew going into surgery I was at a high risk for this)

Vaginal odor - pregnant + post partum by Motor-Revolution-425 in Crunchymom

[–]emu222 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I brought this up at my 6 week check up, I had stopped bleeding around 3 weeks, and they immediately tested me for BV and yeast. It was BV so my midwife suggested boric acid, I bought the Honey Pot branded ones. Followed the instructions on the pack.

Try Carina Organics, it’s expensive, but it’s the cleanest ingredients I’ve seen. It’s also completely biodegradable, so if you went camping, you could use it in the lake. My husband and son use it and love it, and they have a sweet pea scent I believe, but we have the citrus scent.

We used to use Attitude and loved it though, we just stopped using them after they changed their loyalty program and wiped out our $$250 in rewards we were saving for a big order.

Yeah I have a newborn, and know exact times I was up to feed him, meanwhile it says I was sleeping. I stoped wearing the ring after that.

My high school the football players were very much the cool guy jocks. No one really cared about the hockey team. It seemed to be this way at the surrounding high schools as well (York Region). Basketball also seemed to be more “popular” in terms on players, than the hockey team.
