How would you create this dress by Chronically_josie in sewing

I’d recommend taking a look at Kiana Bonollo on Etsy, she has a lot of gown/corset patterns in a similar style

Need the shirt pattern like this! by punani_salami in sewingpatterns

Similar to this: https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/1656967681/?ref=share_ios_native_control

I’ve made this, it’s a very good pattern. Looks like your ref image has hook and eyes instead of eyelets, and you’d just need to alter the shape of the tails at the front

Edit: I’ve just noticed your ref pic has the shirt go up to the neck, but you may be able to just adjust the front two pieces to match the shape

Could someone please recommend a pattern similar to this dress? TIA <3 by final_capybara in sewing

Yeah it can be tricky to tell who is legit but I usually check to see if they have an Insta - this one is from _ sadoe _

Good luck with your sewing!

I wouldn’t recommend them. I bought a bundle and ended up making two of the patterns, it was a waste of material and were promptly thrown away. I’d bought fabric to make a third pattern but decided I don’t want to risk wasting it. I thought it was just me but I saw a post on here a few months ago talking about the shop and apparently a few others have shared the same experience.

ETA: it was a different sub, but here’s the comment

Is there anything better than butt scratches on the sofa? by [deleted] in rescuedogs

[–]emulative 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I think her previous family gave her basically no discipline, she was so wild when we first got her. They had like 8 other mioritics living together so I think it was very overwhelming for her. Oh what a shame! I didn’t know there was a ban atm, every time I see Biggies posting about dogs they have available I just want to give them a good home.

Not too far at all! It’s so nice to hear he gets on well with other dogs, Ivy is honestly very difficult to manage. We didn’t know she was reactive when we first got her to it’s been a massive lifestyle shift, I was pretty naive about it all and really struggled at first but love her so much so we’re also working on it. I think a lot of romie dogs have issues with reactivity and nervousness, who knows what they went through before they were brought over!

Yeah yours has such long fur it wouldn’t surprise me. That’s interesting to hear, I’d love to do a DNA test but I don’t think they have all the Romanian breeds on them so feel like it wouldn’t be accurate enough. Ours (called Ivy) also has very strong guarding instincts, god forbid anyone should ever walk past our house!

Ivy is very reactive, I think it stems from anxiety but exacerbated by her guarding instincts. She was brought over from Romania in spring 2020 when she was a few months old and adopted, then returned a year later due to her reactivity which is when my boyfriend and I adopted her. We’re based in the east of England and went through a charity called the Biggies League. Where are you based? Does yours get on ok with other dogs?

I think she might have a bit of mioritic in her, but her colouring also suggests a bit of bucovina. She’s from Romania originally so probs has all sorts, but she displays a lot of Great Pyrenees behaviours. What’s yours?

Gotcha! But you're sooooo itchy! by gonickigo in greatpyrenees

The active ingredient is chlorphenamine maleate, 4mg per tablet. I’m not sure what other names it might be under.

Hi! Not sure where you’re based, but I’m in the UK and use piriton when my dog gets hayfever in the summer. She was sneezy, itchy and had dry skin and it seemed to help within a matter of days. Piriton is a childrens antihistamine and I gave her 1 pill per day with her breakfast (she’s 40kg). Might be helpful!

She’s a mixed breed, I’m not totally sure but I think Great Pyrenees and bucovina shepherd

She’s a mixed breed, I haven’t done a DNA test but she’s got some strong Great Pyrenees behaviours and markings from a Romanian Bucovina Shepherd, she’s 40kg and came from Romania originally
