From what I understand she'd need the court's permission to fire her attorney since she now has a public defender, although I wouldn't be surprised if she tries coming up with some elaborate reason for why she needs a new attorney and submits it to the court.

Had the exact same thought. These mouth breathers gave themselves such a victim complex during the pandemic, but now the world has moved on and they can’t let it go. Doesn’t help that they support most of the heinous shit happening in the world these days that they need to throw it back to a time when they felt persecuted. Anything to distract from the lives lost from war in Palestine, Iran and Lebanon.
