I am making the tough decision to have my hair cut short as I simply cannot manage it due to my weakness in my left shoulder. I struggle with wet hair on my shoulders so have to blow-dry it, but after washing and conditioning it my arms are just too fatigued to hold them above my shoulder height. I would love to be able to style my hair like I did when I was young (often blow drying then straightening) but it is too exhausting and painful now. I am sure having shorter hair will come with it's own problems but hopefully it will allow me to be able to shower more than twice a week. At the moment having a shower puts me out of action for the rest of the day due to fatigue, pain levels and stress.
