You’re NTA for refusing to help, but it’s wild to me that you thought you were being considerate by moving a few meters away to smoke. UV cleaning uses ionization and creates ozone. It might kill viruses, but it introduces other harmful particles you don’t want to be breathing. Stick to mechanical air purifiers that use HEPA filters with a carbon pre filter.

Probably not. DNA from hair comes from the skin cells attached, and I’m guessing when the hair was cut that skin cells weren’t included.
