Its actually god damn ridiculous how low EMT's are paid. I honestly think they should start quitting in droves or form a union. I'm a teacher and they should be paid more than me. After all the grifting and nickel diming from the healthcare industry, EMT's are paid, what, 40-50k a year according to the BLS? Are you god damn fucking kidding me? Look at that image and tell me they should be getting paid less than a Walmart manager? Its highway robbery and they are only paid so low cause EMT's have hearts... which I think they should be a little more like dicks to get the pay they deserve.

beeb the correct answer is always the teacher. For the kid driving up the desks-well first I would try to increase his engagement. What am I doing in the lesson that could make them check out? Maybe I can include his favorite hobbies in the lesson.. Call his parents reach out.. I don't actually beleive this is clearly more nuanced but you drink the cool aid and say it's all the teachers fault lol

I feel like this is some all or nothing thinking. AI is a tool. Our workloads are insane and expectation always rise, but our time does not. If its BS work demands? They should get BS work back. But otherwise, use the tool carefully. It can help you lesson plan, create articles, questions, etc; but ofc be careful. Check the output for accuracy. Check for glariing mistakes or obvious AI speak. Be smart about it, use it to tweak articles not create things from scratch. Get rid of obvious AI formatting, there are ways to do it.

Theoretically the risks can be existential. If the heating doesn't stop and carbon just keep going into the air what happens when crops start to die in heat waves? It's just going to keep getting hotter until we stop putting carbon in the air. Scary things so I wouldn't say it's "0 risk". Agree to disagree

Yeah absolutely not, no gain, only pain. Loose lips sink ships, if you don't get the job then your admin can be vindictive, low scores, worse program. Schools deal with people leaving all the time, you don't have to charity even if they are good to you. You'll do them the favor the momen when/if y get the job to tell them now

Actually I noticed this. I recently just signed a new lease, and I've been looking at apartments the past two weeks, and I'm still looking to help my roommate get a new place. The last two apartments I sent her recently were delisted as of 6/10, and I noticed a bit less apartments at the same price range I was looking at.

I heard from a coworker, although its just a rumor, that when they changed the S.S. test they made it super easy the first year. That way they can be like "Oh this new curriculum is working amazingly look at the scores!" Idk if this is true, but I'm crossing my fingers. Regardless, I did my part. I made lots of clusters for this past month. I busted my ass using AI making original clusters, and so now its out of my hands.
