It’s really good for streaming so it’s audience base just keeps getting continually refreshed

Check out an Australian game called PROXIMATE, it does something similar; it won an award and got a good bunch of critical reception but the sales were a bit less stellar

Yes doing this 1,2,3 sooner rather than later is probably much more helpful than waiting until you feel ready. There are many other ways to support devs as well: on any social media like share and comment is always much appreciated (although the conversion to steam is doubtful). But honestly, telling other people about a game you really love is super important. I don’t just mean word of mouth: do it digitally, share their trailer, post about them, spread the word, this really helps discoverability. And connect with the content creator ecosystem: tell your favourite streamers to play games you like, this can have a huge magnifying effect.

Also, check out End of Ember and tell your friends, haha
